Psycotherapists in Toronto, ON
Psychotherapy at Myocare offers a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to mental and emotional well-being. Our work focuses on understanding your experiences, strengthening coping strategies, and supporting meaningful change. Therapy is designed to help you gain clarity, build resilience, and move toward a more balanced, grounded life.
Each therapeutic journey begins with a comprehensive intake to understand your history, goals, and current challenges. Your therapist tailors each session to your needs, drawing from appropriate therapeutic approaches to support insight, emotional regulation, and personal growth. Care is collaborative, intentional, and paced to support lasting progress.
Psychotherapy addresses more than isolated symptoms. By exploring thought patterns, emotions, behaviors, and life context, therapy supports deeper self-awareness and long-term change. This integrated approach can help reduce anxiety, stress, and emotional fatigue while fostering healthier relationships and improved overall well-being.
Sessions take place in a calm, private, and supportive setting designed to promote openness and psychological safety. A quiet atmosphere, thoughtful design, and attentive care create space for reflection, processing, and meaningful conversation, allowing you to fully engage in the therapeutic process.
Registered Psychotherapist
About Julia
Julia Wyncoll holds a Master’s degree in Counselling from the University of Toronto and is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, Julia worked for many years as a movement coach and teacher trainer, supporting both community members and high-performance athletes. Through this work, she became deeply interested in the places where conversation alone can be transformative, and other moments when the body itself offers essential insight and guidance.
Julia works primarily with individuals navigating life transitions—such as leaving university, career changes, and midlife—as well as those living with grief and loss, including divorce or the loss of a parent, friend, or job. She also supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and relational challenges. Julia completed her clinical internship at Mackenzie Health in the mental health and medical wards, where she developed a strong foundation as a trauma-informed practitioner.
Her work is grounded in building safe, trusting therapeutic relationships and when clients are open to it, Julia also incorporates somatic awareness, drawing on her extensive background in movement to help clients use the body as a resource for grounding, insight, and healing.
Julia is a parent of three young adults and lives in Toronto. Her practice is LGBTQ-affirming and informed by an awareness of cultural, social, and relational contexts.

At our Toronto practice, we believe that therapy is most effective when it honors the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. Yes, both Julia and Nikki are Registered Psychotherapists with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). This ensures that your therapy is provided by regulated professionals who adhere to strict ethical standards and ongoing clinical training. Nikki has been a member of the CRPO since 2016 and Julia holds a Master’s degree in Counselling from the University of Toronto.
The duration of therapy is highly individual. Some clients seeking support for a specific life transition—like a career change or leaving university—may find clarity in a few months. Others navigating complex trauma, grief, or long-term depression may benefit from ongoing, long-term support to build lasting resilience.
Most extended health insurance plans in Ontario cover services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist. Because both therapists are members of the CRPO, we recommend checking with your provider to see if your plan includes "Psychotherapy" coverage.
We believe that words aren't always enough for deep healing.
