She holds a Diploma in Acupuncture and Moxibustion from Eight Branches College of Eastern Medicine. Before becoming an acupuncturist, Dina spent more than 13 years working as a birth and postpartum doula, guiding families through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. This experience gave her a deep understanding of the physical and emotional needs that arise during major life transitions.
Dina also holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and Development Studies, which informed over a decade of work with vulnerable communities in Canada and internationally. Her broad professional background has shaped a holistic and empathetic approach to care that considers each patient’s unique circumstances and lived experience.
In addition, Dina is a member of the International Association of Infant Massage, reflecting her longstanding commitment to supporting families and nurturing healthy connections.
As a mother of two, Dina understands firsthand the complexities and joys of family life. She loves taking spontaneous day trips to explore nature with her family and spent over a decade homeschooling her children for several months each year while they traveled throughout Latin America to connect with extended family and culture.
Dina’s diverse life and professional experiences allow her to meet patients with warmth, compassion, and genuine understanding. Her goal is to help each person feel supported as they move toward greater balance, resilience, and well-being.
