Elena first moved to Toronto from Germany in 2006 when she started working for L’Arche, an organization that provides group homes for people with disabilities. After seeing how a Massage therapist there helped residents relax and feel better, she became interested in studying massage therapy herself and has now been in the profession since 2010.
Since becoming a Massage Therapist Elena has been working with many different types of clients of all ages and backgrounds, including children, seniors, athletes, people recovering from injuries and surgeries, prenatal clients, and many others suffering from a variety of illnesses and conditions.
Although Elena is famous for her deeper pressure, she can easily adapt her treatments to specifically address each clients particular comfort levels and treatment goals.
Elena views massage as an integral part of overall wellness and preventative healthcare along with fitness and nutrition. In her free time she likes to stay active and includes a variety of exercises into her routine, like Yoga, Spinning, Pilates, Strength training and different fitness classes.
